DMX Sentenced To 6 Months In Jail [Video]

Poor, poor Earl.

Rapper DMX was ordered to remain in jail for at least six months and undergo a mental health evaluation after violating five separate parole violations last week including drug possession.

As previously reported, X was taken into custody last week after admitting to his parole officer that he had been using cocaine.

However he might not have to serve the whole time if he's admitted into drug rehab.

DMX has already been accepted into the Pasadena Recovery Center where Celebrity Rehab Dr. Drew Pinsky practices. However the Yonkers MC won't appear on the show.

His lawyer Glenn Allen also stated that DMX was “desperately trying” to get his addiction taken care of.

If everything goes according to plan, X will be home on September 16, 2010.
