Phoenix, AZ (June 22, 2010) – ILIVEHIPHOP.com, the on line hip hop social community that connects hip hop artists to their fans and various Arizona community, political and business affiliates announced today that they will host the 1st Annual "Arizona Above The Rim Charity Event. Their goal is to increase awareness of homelessness and provide food, water and clothing for the less fortunate people within our community. The event is scheduled for July 17, 2010 at Desert West Park located at 6501 W Virginia Ave, in Phoenix, AZ.

Event attendees will enjoy free food and beverages, music by professional DJs, professionally manned carnival bouncers and dunk tanks, Attendees will also have the opportunity to view an All Star Community basketball tournament! 10 Basketball Teams will display their athletic and competitive skills. Each team will play for 5 minutes per game with a 2 game elimination round to win the championship title. The Arizona Above the Rim Charity Event is not just an opportunity to bring the community together, but event hosts will set up canned food and clothing donation booths so that community members can donate and support the needs of those that are less fortunate. Proceeds from the charity event will go to the local Salvation Army. “The "Arizona Above the Rim Charity Event" creates a unique opportunity to display our community in an innovative way and to benefit a great cause. The event gives our community members an opportunity to help those who need it most. At this time over one thousand people are expected to be in attendance. The overwhelming response and anticipation of this event has inspired local television and radio media members to join the cause and attend the “Arizona Above the Tim Charity Event.
